PLAY BINGO ONLINE WITH A STAR

Gambling and celebrity go together like champagne and caviar. These larger than life personalities have the deep pockets and the attitude to strut their stuff at the tables of the world's finest and foremost casinos. Online bingo (including free bingo online), poker and casinos now give celebrities the chance to play, win and lose as much as they want away from prying eyes.

As anyone who has ever played poker will tell you, the ability to act is a very important part of the game. Perhaps that's why so many Hollywood stars on premiership footballers love to get their chips out at the weekend and enjoy some A-list action at the tables.

Stars of Oceans 11, 12, and 13, George Clooney and Brad Pitt have taken their work home with them. On screen they robbed the casino in Las Vegas. IN real life, they are investing $3 billion into their own exclusive resort. Let's hope someone doesn't turn the tables on them.

Premiership footballers are renowned for enjoying a punt or three. Michael Owen allegedly loaned Wayne Rooney more than £70,000 to cover his gambling debts. Probably best to stick to footy Wayne!

The slots have always proved tempting for the Middle American suburban housewife and - perhaps - the classic example of is the fabulous Marge Simpson who famously got the red mist and went on an epic gambling spree. At least she made Homer finally feel good about himself!

From the old school, we have the legendary crooner Frank Sinatra. The Rat Pack leader loved the gambling lifestyle and Old Blue Eyes certainly liked to do it 'his way' at the tables.

Some celebrity gamblers are so good they go on to win tournaments and appear on television shows. Matthew Perry cleaned out his 'Friends' friend David Schwimmer on American Celebrity Poker Showdown. It was a sight to behold.

'All in ma'am?' If it's good enough for Her Royal Highness, it's good enough for anyone. It's a well known fact that Betty loves a bet. The fact that she owns half the race horses might have something to do with it.

And - when it comes to royalty - you can't forget the legend that is Hugh Hefner. The Playboy founder's Playboy Clubs were ubiquitous in the 1960s and brought classy gambling and bunny girls all the world's major cities. Times have been hard for Hef in recent years but the king is bouncing back with a new £300 million venue in Las Vegas.

Ben Affleck is probably the most professional celebrity gambler winning more than $350,000 at the California State Poker championship.

So next time you have a flutter online, bear in mind you might be rubbing virtual shoulders with a star.
